Pro Football Focus released their top 101 players list from the NFL’s 2024 season and four Denver Broncos players made the cut.
The four players represent a who’s who of Broncos stars who made an impact this past season, while collecting a plethora of awards for their performance. Guard Quinn Meinerz and cornerback Pat Surtain were the obvious shoo-ins. But Offensive tackle Garrett Bolles and safety Brandon Jones got their praise, too.
Mason Cameron, Dalton Wasserman and Max Chadwick compiled the list. This is what they had to say about Bolles, whose play helped elevate rookie quarterback Bo Nix as he adjusted to the pro game.
“Bolles has been the model of consistency across his NFL tenure, to which he parlayed another great year in 2024 into a four-year, $82 million extension in December,” PFF wrote. “The veteran tackle continues to elevate his game as a pass blocker, having generated an 88.8 grade this season — fourth highest at the position — while surrendering the sixth-lowest pressure rate (3.1%).”
Congrats to the four Broncos players. Now they will now look to keep the momentum going and attempt to help Denver return to contending for Super Bowls.
