Another elite recruit is close to committing to the Georgia BulldogsAccording to Hayes Fawcett, four-star edge rusher Khamari Brooks will choose between Alabama and Georgia. The elite pass rusher is canceling his official visits with Texas and USC.

Brooks is a four-star edge rusher in the class of 2026. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound edge rusher plays high school football for North Oconee High School in Bogart, Georgia. He helped North Oconee win a state title in 2024.

He visited Georgia on May 30 and Alabama on June 6. While he hasn’t announced his commitment date yet, a decision is expected soon since he has already visited both schools. Brooks also attended junior day with the Bulldogs on Jan. 18.

Georgia’s 2026 class ranks fifth in the nation after another aggressive summer of recruiting. The Bulldogs’ class features one five-star recruit, nine four-star recruits, and four three-star recruits.

However, Georgia has not secured commitments from many defensive lineman, with only three-stars Carter Luckie and Seven Cloud, who shut down his recruitment, committed to the Bulldogs.

Brooks is the No. 14 edge rusher and No. 112 prospect in the nation.
