Atwell, Jackson and Flowers are all from South Florida so they linked up for a workout
Every NFL team is currently on summer break before training camp, which gives players a chance to leave town for a bit. Los Angeles Rams receiver Tutu Atwell is back home in South Florida and while on the East Coast, he linked up with a couple of Baltimore Ravens stars.
Trainer Nick Hicks shared videos of Atwell training with Lamar Jackson and Zay Flowers at Vista View Park in Davie, Florida, which isn’t far from where Atwell grew up in Miami. Jackson and Flowers are both from the area, too; Jackson went to high school in Boynton Beach and Flowers is from Fort Lauderdale.
Former Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham, who was Atwell’s college teammate and is now with the Ravens, was also part of the workout.
The trio wasn’t seen throwing on the field, but only running hill sprints in the clips shared by Hicks.
Atwell signed a one-year, $10 million contract with the Rams this offseason, remaining with the team that drafted him in the second round four years ago. He could be poised for a big year in 2025 after the Rams moved on from Cooper Kupp and Demarcus Robinson, pushing Atwell up the depth chart as the No. 3 receiver.
He’s clearly putting in the work this offseason, staying in shape during this downtime in the summer before the competition ramps up in three weeks at Loyola Marymount for camp.
