Green Bay is officially on the clock.

The small town in Wisconsin is set to host the NFL offseason’s marquee event – the 2025 NFL Draft. Also known as Titletown, USA and the home of the Green Bay Packers, historic Lambeau Field is the backdrop as the league gets set to welcome the next generation of stars.

Miami’s Cam Ward is expected to be the first player off the board, with Colorado’s dual-threat star Travis Hunter not far behind.

From that point on, it’s anyone’s guess what might happen once the clock starts ticking.

Deadlines make for some wild decisions and the pressure for each team to get it right is what makes the draft so interesting.

Here’s when the NFL Draft is set to begin, how much time each team has to make a pick and the order heading into the first round.

What time does the NFL draft start?

The 2025 NFL Draft is set to begin at 8 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Thursday, April 24.

Commissioner Roger Goodell will take the stage at that moment and speak for a few minutes before officially declaring the draft open. At that time, the Tennessee Titans will be officially on the clock.

The Titans have owned the pick since the regular season ended in early January, but still have 10 more minutes to make the pick after Goodell gets things started.

First-round pick times

Every team in the first round has 10 minutes to make their selection.

Some teams will use almost the full 10 minutes, while others will be a little more swift in making their selections.
