Jammu Kashmir Pahalgam Terror Attack News Live Updates: As tensions remain rife between the two nations, the Pakistan military resorted to unprovoked firing across the Line of Control (LoC), with Indian troops effectively responding, military sources told news agency PTI on Saturday. This is the second time in as many days that a gunfight ensued between India and Pakistan along the International Border since the terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. Pakistani military fired at Indian positions across the LoC on Thursday night as well. No casualties have been reported in the firing.

Jal Shakti Minister’s strong words on Pakistan: Jal Shakti Minister C R Paatil on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have issued a string of directives amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, expected to be implemented immediately. “We will ensure that not a single drop of water flows into Pakistan from India,” he said in remarks seen as tightening the screws on Pakistan. Further, Amit Shah called up CMs across all states, urging them to ensure that no Pakistani stays in the country beyond the May 1 deadline.

Homes of suspected terrorists demolished: Days after the Pahalgam terror attack, the homes of two men suspected to be involved in the incident were “demolished using explosives” during the night in south Kashmir. Suspected Pahalgam attacker Asif Ahmad Sheikh’s house was demolished at Mongaham in south Kashmir’s Tral, and Adil Ahmad Thoker’s house at Gurre village in south Kashmir’s Bijbehara. The police are yet to comment on the developments.
