T Bhaskar Nagendrappa, President – CREDAI Karnataka
The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) Karnataka has announced the appointment of Bhaskar T Nagendrappa as its new President for the term 2025-27. He has taken the charge from outgoing President Pradeep D Raikar.
Bhaskar has earlier served as the President of CREDAI Bengaluru (2021-2023) and as President-Elect of CREDAI Karnataka. At the national level, he was the Chairman of the Skill Development Committee at CREDAI National. The change in guard took place in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka D K Shivakumar along with other dignitaries from CREDAI Karnataka.
Sharing his vision for CREDAI Karnataka, Bhaskar said, “Over the next two years, our focus will be on fostering sustainable development, enhancing collaboration among stakeholders, and driving innovation in the real estate sector. Our goal is to make CREDAI Karnataka an integral part of CREDAI’s decision-making process at the national level. Together, we will work towards creating a more transparent and efficient ecosystem that benefits both developers and homebuyers.”
Dharmendra B Mehta, President-Elect, CREDAI Karnataka, said “CREDAI Karnataka will continue to be a strong advocate for the real estate industry, addressing challenges and creating opportunities for growth. We aim to strengthen the industry’s contribution to the state’s economy while ensuring ethical practices and customer satisfaction. We remain committed to driving excellence, innovation, and progress in the real estate sector across Karnataka and the country.”
Office bearers
Other newly appointed office bearers include Uday Shankar Shetty as vice president of North, and D Srihari the vice president of South. Mahaveer S Mehta has been appointed as Secretary, Mamta Bharaktiya as Joint Secretary, Panchakshari S Hiremath as Joint Secretary for North, Arun Pandit L is the joint secretary for South and Dhanraj Talampally as Treasurer.
According to CREDAI’s official website, it was established in 1999 and represents over 13300 real estate developers across 21 states of India.
