Following their meeting with megastar Chiranjeevi, members of the Producers Guild met Nandamuri Balakrishna at his residence earlier today to discuss ongoing concerns faced by film producers.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Telugu Film Producers Council member T. Prasanna Kumar said, “Balakrishna suggested reducing the number of shooting days as a means to control production costs. He emphasized that producers must be treated as true paymasters and that their welfare is crucial for the survival of the industry.”
Balakrishna also advised producers to minimize the number of crew members on sets, advocating for a leaner workforce to ensure greater efficiency and financial savings. “He assured us that he would commit to doing four films a year in order to support producers and help sustain the industry,” Prasanna Kumar added.
Movie Artistes Association president Vishnu Manchu also accompanied the producers during the meeting, with all parties united in their support for safeguarding producers’ interests.
Commenting on the earlier meeting with Chiranjeevi, Prasanna Kumar stated, “All the top stars want this issue resolved quickly. Everyone’s interests must be protected to ensure a flourishing industry.”
