The Kansas City Chiefs will begin their three-game preseason schedule with an exhibition contest against the Arizona Cardinals.
As the defending AFC champions, the Chiefs will face sky-high expectations in 2025, while the upstart Cardinals will mostly be looking to improve on a middling 8-9 result from last season to secure a spot in the NFC playoffs.
Neither side is expected to let its starters take the field for more than a few drives, but for both teams, the path to a potential victory in Super Bowl LX will start at 7:00 p.m. CT at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Chiefs vs. Cardinals prediction
Chiefs 21, Cardinals 34: Kansas City’s starters will see the field for only a few short minutes before the second- and third-string players take over, so don’t expect to see an offensive explosion for most of the game. Quarterbacks Gardner Minshew and Bailey Zappe will be able to provide more than serviceable shot-calling. The Cardinals are a much-improved team this season and will put up enough of a fight to squeeze out a win against the AFC champions.” — Jon Ediger, Chiefs Wire
