At around 2 pm on Monday, Ashish went to the parking lot and allegedly killed the puppies, said the police.

The act was captured on the apartment surveillance cameras. One of the residents found the puppies lying in a pool of blood, and alerted the apartment security. They examined the CCTV footage and found Ashish committing the act. On Thursday, after he was confronted by residents, Ashish confessed to killing the puppies, allegedly out of fear that they might attack and harm him.

An officer of the Alwal Police Station said Ashish was angry at the stray dog for previously attacking his pet, and he allegedly killed the puppies out of revenge. The police said a case was registered, and an investigation was taken up.
