Actor Tarun’s movie, Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu, remains a favorite for many Telugu audiences. The film, released in 2002, not only became a box office hit but also garnered Tarun a fan following.
Interestingly, there was a time when Mahesh Babu was considered for the lead role. Producer D Suresh Babu asked director Kasi Viswanath about casting Mahesh Babu. Viswanath, however, felt that securing Mahesh Babu would be a lengthy process due to his busy schedule and high demand. He believed Tarun was perfect for the role, especially after Tarun’s success with Nuvvu Kavali.
The film also featured Aarthi Agarwal, Laya, Kiran Rathod, Brahmanandam, Sunil and others. RP Patnaik was its music director. Released for Sankranthi, it featured chartbusters like Nindu Godari Kada and Edo Edo.
