Parliament Monsoon Session LIVE News Updates: Both the Houses of the Parliament have been adjourned amid uproar by Opposition over discussion on Bihar SIR. Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm, while Rajya Sabha has ben adjourned till noon. Opposition leaders have submitted multiple adjournment notices demanding a discussion on the Bihar electoral roll revision in both Houses of Parliament. Notices have been given for an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha and under Rule 267 in the Rajya Sabha. The protests have disrupted both Houses of Parliament on a daily basis during the ongoing Monsoon session.

Lok Sabha – List of Business: Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, will move The Indian Ports Bill, 2025 in the Lok Sabha today (August 1). The Bill seeks to consolidate laws related to ports, promote integrated port development, facilitate ease of doing business, and ensure optimum utilization of India’s coastline.
