TORONTO – Seattle joins Vancouver as Professional Women’s Hockey League expansion teams next season.
The PWHL announced last week that Vancouver would join the league.
Seattle’s team will play out Climate Pledge Arena, which is also the home of the NHL’s Kraken.
The addition of Seattle and Vancouver will make for an eight-team league.
The original six clubs are in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Boston, New York and St. Paul, Minn.
The PWHL wraps its second regular season Saturday before playoffs.
