It’s safe to say Steelers Pro Bowl LB Patrick Queen is passionate about his Madden rating — and he apparently isn’t thrilled about his 82 overall in the newest edition.
Queen recently made a guest appearance on the Nightcap podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson — and wasted little time addressing the Madden-sized elephant in the room with the former Bengal turned ratings adjuster.
“I already got a bone to pick with you anyways,” Queen told Ochocinco. “My Madden rating. Come on, bruh, that’s disrespectful.”
Ochocinco explained that if Queen had a strong performance against the Jets in Week 1, he’d be able to argue his case in the Madden ratings meeting rooms — a challenge the Steelers linebacker happily accepted.
The completely overhauled Steelers defense already had enough to prove heading into the regular season opener — and it now appears that Queen has another reason to show out in a big way against his former teammate, QB Justin Fields, and the New York Jets.
