Big year ahead for No. 12
Puka Nacua seems to get better each time he steps on the field, which has him in line for a big year in 2025 – health provided. During Tuesday’s training camp practice, he made what appears to be the catch of camp so far.
During red zone drills, he lined up against Darious Williams and made a spectacular spinning grab in the corner of the end zone for a would-be touchdown. Nacua elevated over Williams to make the tough catch, and while we can’t tell if he got his feet in bounds, we’ll assume he did. Because he’s Puka.
Take a look at the highlight-reel play in the video below.
It doesn’t quite match some of the eye-popping catches Nacua has made in games during his young career, but it was by no means an easy catch.
And it was also a perfect throw from Jimmy Garoppolo, who’s gotten a lot of work with Matthew Stafford out.
