APSSDC announces overseas placement opportunity for electricians in Germany

The Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), in collaboration with Overseas Manpower Company Andhra Pradesh (OMCAP) and Indo Euro Synchronisation (IES), is offering qualified electricians the chance to work in Germany. The initiative aims to give skilled youth from Andhra Pradesh global exposure and access to high-paying jobs in the European market.

Candidates must possess an ITI (2 years) or Diploma (3 years) in Electrician Trade, be under 30 years of age, and have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience. Selected individuals will be employed as electricians in Germany under a two-year contract, earning a monthly salary of €2,600 to €2,700 (approximately ₹2.6–2.7 lakh). They will also be eligible for overtime and other allowances as per the employer’s terms. Recognition and translation costs, accommodation, and arrival assistance will be provided to ensure a smooth transition. To prepare candidates for the German workplace, selected individuals will undergo German language training (A1 & A2 levels) for 12–14 weeks, starting in November 2025. The training will be conducted offline for 8 hours per day, tentatively in Rajahmundry. The training fee is ₹1,15,000, payable in three instalments, which includes both application and training charges. Candidates are responsible for food, accommodation, flight, and visa expenses. However, a reimbursement of €1,000 will be provided upon successful completion of a six-month probation period.

This programme operates under OMCAP RA ID – 8723, issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), ensuring transparency and compliance with government regulations.
