Deputy CM orders probe into death at Pithapuram government hospital

Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday ordered a probe into the maternal mortality reported at the Pithapuram government hospital in Kakinada district.

A few weeks ago, Chebrolu Dondapati Sridurga gave birth to a baby at the Pithapuram government hospital and later died while undergoing treatment at the Kakinada Government General Hospital. 

In a video conference attended by the Kakinada District Collector S. Shan Mohan, Mr. Pawan Kalyan directed him to inquire into the case and submit a detailed report on it.
