Theni District Crime Branch has registered a case of cheating against three persons for getting loan of ₹14.72 lakh from a private bank by forging the documents of 20 persons without their knowledge. Based on the complaint lodged by the regional manager of the private bank, D. Mutheeswaran, the police have booked the manager of the bank’s branch in Bodi, G. Veeramuthu, its field worker, S. Pandimeena, one A. Chithra of Bodi.
The trio had conspired and used the know your customer documents of 20 persons without their knowledge and got the loans from two branches.
