The 20th annual nurse capping ceremony was held at Government School of Nursing in Thoothukudi on Friday.
The nursing school operates within the campus of the Thoothukudi Government Medical College and Hospital (TKGMCH). At the ceremony, students who had completed their third year of nursing programme were presented with nurse caps.
The event was presided over by G. Sivakumar, Dean, TKGMCH. R. Shankar Shanmugam, Joint Director of Medical Education and Research (nursing) attended as chief guest and presented caps to 95 students.
R. Padmanabhan, Medical Superintendent, TKGMCH, Silas Jeyamani, Resident Medical Officer, TKGMCH and other doctors and staff were present.
