Siddaramaiah govt. itself an eclipse: Tejasvi Surya

Launching a counter-attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who had described him as “amavasye surya” (dark sun), BJP MP Tejasvi Surya on Thursday alleged that the Siddaramaiah dispensation itself was “an eclipse that had masked the State”.

“The State will be freed from the Siddaramaiah-Congress eclipse after two-and-a-half years while the BJP would continue to shine forever,” he told mediapersons here.

Hitting back at Mr. Siddaramaiah, Mr. Surya said: “Despite being a senior leader with wide exposure, Mr. Siddaramaiah is not aware of the difference between Amavasye (new moon day) and Hunnime (full moon day). The sun continues to shine on both the days.”

He maintained that the fact that the Siddaramaiah government had come like an eclipse for the State was visible by the pothole ridden roads of Bengaluru that had made life miserable for motorists.
