Hold CU students’ union polls by October 31: HC

The Kerala High Court has directed that the department students’ union polls of Calicut University (CU) be held by October 31.

The Vice-Chancellor had cancelled the polls following complaints of irregularities. The court held that police protection could be sought if needed and said that an impartial probe must be held on complaints pertaining to the alleged irregularities.
