The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has resumed the admission process for the A.P. Law Common Entrance Test (APLAWCET) and A.P. Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (APPGLCET) for the academic year 2025–26.
In a statement on Sunday, APSCHE Secretary B. Tirupati Rao announced that the admission process will begin on October 21, allowing registered candidates to exercise their web options from that date.
As per the revised schedule, candidates can submit web options on October 21 and 22, make changes on October 23, and seat allotments will be released on October 25. Selected students must report to their respective colleges between October 27 and 29, while classes will commence on October 27.
The Council drew attention to certain institutional changes during the counselling process. It stated that KMR Law College and Rayalaseema Law College in Chittoor have been included in the counselling following court orders. However, both institutions do not have approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) or university affiliation at present. Admissions into these two colleges will therefore depend on the final court ruling and subsequent BCI approval.
Further, the Council advised candidates to revise their web options if they have already chosen BEST Private University, Anantapur, or M.P.R. Law College, Srikakulam. The statement clarified that BEST University lacks BCI approval, while M.P.R. Law College has neither BCI approval nor university affiliation.
